Responsible for developing and managing Discord environments across multiple projects, ensuring effective and responsive moderation. Includes designing, creating, and maintaining Discord bots, ensuring their continuous operation and updates as needed. Additionally responsible for conducting machine learning model training, including preprocessing of data, running experiments, and evaluating model performance. Provide comprehensive support across development, product, and community management as required.
I took ownership of the end user feedback loop within Nifty's, a blockchain innovation studio, driving insights and improvements by effectively managing analytics, actively soliciting user feedback, and conducting experiments. On a day-to-day basis, my focus revolved around closely monitoring and engaging with the Nifty's Discord community, ensuring a deep understanding of user sentiments and preferences.
In order to test and refine engagement mechanics for integration on the Nifty's platform, I developed low-lift user activations as experimental initiatives. These activations were primarily implemented using Discord as the platform, with a Python/PostgreSQL backend that leveraged Nifty's API. Additionally, some experiments involved web-based implementations utilizing Django framework. Through these efforts, I aimed to enhance user engagement and optimize the overall user experience on Nifty's platform.
Responsible for overseeing and fostering an engaged community environment. This involved managing a team of paid and unpaid moderators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to community guidelines. Additionally, I actively contributed to developing community activations by creating Python and PostgreSQL-based bots that integrated with Nifty's API, thereby enhancing the overall immersive experience for community members.
Over time, my role expanded to include assisting the Nifty's program team in the development of franchise programs. This entailed collaborating closely with the team to refine program strategies and effectively communicate community preferences and demands regarding our products. By actively engaging with the community, I played a vital role in aligning our offerings with their needs and desires.
As the overseer of the church's Online Campus, I was responsible for ensuring the seamless live streaming of services. This encompassed the meticulous maintenance of all the necessary equipment essential for running the stream and the supervision and coordination of the dedicated team of volunteers involved.
Additionally maintained the church's technology infrastructure. In addition to managing the Online Campus, I diligently supported a team of 20 staff members, providing ongoing technical assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of their digital systems.
As part of my professional role, I was responsible for supporting employees within the corporate office and across 20+ external properties owned by TCC. This involved providing comprehensive support to our 60+ off-site employees, ensuring they had the necessary working technology to perform their duties effectively.
Additionally, I collaborated with a consultant to guarantee that all 120+ employees had access to functioning technology, addressing any technical issues and ensuring a seamless working environment for everyone within the organization.
